HURRAH!!!!!!!! I've missed you! Great photos. And if that's your steamer next to your muffins - we're steamer twins! Only mine is a bit dirtier.

I had parsnips at Thanksgiving! Yum. Also, have you been to the Algonquin? It's beautiful. You have a second pregnant friend? I'm just getting over my first! wow. That dream had me laughing. It waved at you Jenny!

Just listening. We heard 'Moving' at Green Man', I believe. Isn't it lovely. And also pertinent for me at the moment.

Not really stalking you, just up to 2004 now...and suprised to read your retina thing... it happened to me about two years ago (the eye guy said a migraine could have sparked it, but they don't know how), and one day I just seemed to have two annoying floater things in my right eye, more annoying on sunny days. Anyway, I will probably now be reminding you of something you'd forgotten about and got used to, or singling out your eye spots as though they're the most interesting thing in your blog. Which they're not. Just felt bad for you, because I remember feeling teary at the thought of them always being there, too. Flaming things.

I think I found your blog last year, doing some Google search about knitting...or something. Have just re-discovered, and gone back to the beginning and am currently in April 2001. You seem to have made parallel discoveries to me, though with a wider social circle and busier social life. But I live in the sticks. Emiliana Torrini! Still so few people seem to know! Good luck with your iPod cover on ebay. I'm afraid I'm not in the market for one, as I have a "Knitting Pretty - 30 Simply Projects" book out of the library at the moment, and there's a mobile cover in there that I fully expect to be able to convert into an iPod one come the end of the book. Tremendous. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You make me smile and laugh and remind me that there are still enough people who DON'T read the Daily Mail. We're not doomed quite yet. Although very nearly.

i'm scared to go back to the Windmill in case 'My Weeping Guitar' guy is there again. i might be able to overcome my dread for J-Lew, though. get Neil Buchanan to leave me an enormous message using only gravel, cutlery and coloured buckets, that can only be read from overhead. or email me tomorrow at work. either way is good.
